mq: alter location of "status" file

Hello,

is it possible to put the status file in another location
as ".hg/patches/status" (for eg. ".hg/mqstatus") ?

Reson is that that file is the only file which contains per
repo information and so prevents shring of the .hg/patches
directory.

Or can this be configured already somewhere ?
