I18N Mercurial settings?

Sure, I can change the terminal language, but this is exactly what I do not want by different reasons. All other commandline apps are in English as well. Only Mercurial (unfortunately) speaks German to me ...
I was thinking, probably there is a configuration setting in .hgrc or so to change the language...
