Getting hg serve to work

It's on page 15 under "Making a Local Copy of a Repository".  To be clear, 
the example is not intended to illustrate the use of hg serve, only hg clone 
with a remote repository.  I presume based on your comment that this remote 
repository is behind a regular web server and that with a regular web server 
one does not need the port number (as the example does work).  I now see 
that his example of how to use hg serve (on page 85) does specify use of the 
port number, so the bug is in my head, not the book.
