Outcome:
- port is useless as GPL restricts the usage
- clean-room implementation is far too difficult (if possible)

I did not get what are the exact criteria to distinguish port from 
clean-room but it is not important for me - I am only interested in porting.

Thank you very much for your wish to help. I will try to consider other 
options (socket communication).
