RFC: Would you care if mq stopped storing patch files physically on disk?

The patch.eol setting introduced in hg-1.3 pretty much resolves this issue.

I'm holding out hope the new eol extension can eventually solve the issue
in a better way (making the decision on a per-file basis rather than per-repo).
