THG 0.7.4 crashes on commit

I'd really like that (being a KDE user), but I fear that the transition might 
be less than fluid. It's quite a major change after all. 

For example Qct had locking problems on a Windows machine of a friend of mine 
back with 0.5 or 0.6 - I had to manually switch to the gtk version to make THG 
work again. 

Are you sure that you can make a Qt version as stable as the current gtk 
version in the space of just one release?
