It will depend greatly on the nature of the repository (amount of  
code, number of revisions, etc). I can't really give you a good  
estimate.

Also, I don't believe (although I *could* be wrong) you can svnsync  
from a 1.2.x server - the replay command (which svnsync uses) was new  
in the 1.4.x servers.
