Mercurial wiki is horked.

Not sure why you say this.

I was not asking to move the mercurial wiki. My original idea was
to setup a read only mirror of the master wiki.

As such your webspace offer could be useful for that. Modulo
the setup problems I listed. I could be mistaken, but I don't
think root access is needed to setup moinmoin.

A shared host should do for a wiki mirror. If it can take
the traffic. Would probably peak when the main wiki is down,
which might in turn cause the mirror to fail too... :/

On another note I'm not exactly that much of a unix/web guru.
I just have done a smallish moinmoin wiki install on
our internal FreeBSD box. On the other hand, I have gained some
knowledge about moinmoin wiki editing. And I'm interested in the
Mercurial wiki, as it is a valuable resource that nicely complements
the hgbook for quick notes and additional up-to-date info.
