Additionally, Mercurial on NTFS cannot hard link files in the 
repositories of clones. So if you ever want to clone a repo locally on 
the Windows server, you'll be taking a slight performance/resources hit.

IMO, there is *NO* advantage to having a Windows HG server but a few 
*marginal* advantages to having a Linux HG server.
