Hi Mr. Kasperski and Mr. Samorodov,
Thanks for the feedback.
We have implemented Mr. Kasperski's suggestion regarding the use of hg
clone for project creation in SSH Control. We have made a new form
for project creation that is simpler to use and also supports both the
old HTTP upload mode and the new SSH hg clone mode via a simple
radio-button choice. We also added an enhancement to the Git side
that makes a truly empty Git repository the default so that people can
easily git push if they like. We also support the old way where we
make a non-empty Git repository that can be immediately checked out
just like the Mercurial and Subversion ones. Finally, we implemented
something to address Mr. Samorodov's suggestion to support hg init
commands. Now, those should work insofar as they can be followed by
hg clone or hg push.
Thanks everybody for those great suggestions. We have received a few
public comments and many private emails as well and we have improved
our interface a lot with this feedback. We appreciate your support
and look forward to reading more suggestions for improvement. Best
regards,
Rudi Cilibrasi
