Sure :)

What I thought about is:
- Prefs: "Auto fetch on open"
- Auto commit -A (with date as message) + push on close.

even simpler (and more powerful): auto command for all repos on open and on
close/quit.
=> cd DIR1; command; cd DIR2; command; ...

As explanation: My setup

I installed Mercurial for my wife, and I want to enable her to keep her laptop
and and desktop current all the time using my (24/7) computer as repository
store.

For that it would be most useful to auto-fetch and push so she doesn't have to
worry about it (but with MacMercurial she'll see what happens).

I setup the MacMercurial file in her Startup Apps (User prefs), so an "on open
fetch" setting would enable me to make synchronizing automatic.

I want to setup the same startup/shutdown chain on her GNU/Linux desktop, so
these two will keep synchronized automatically (but having graphical output
and tools will much simplify it for her to do common tasks on her OSX
laptop).

And maybe that chain would be interesting for others, too (maybe for you? :) )

Best wishes,
Arne

PS: One more far fetched idea: a user interface which shows the main
commands: "fetch", "commit" and "push -f" as big buttons to be beginning-user
friendly. :)
