cant push

I removed the previous Mercurial using Windows' Add/Remove
Program applet, verified that the c:\Program Files\Mercurial
directory was empty, then installed Mercurial-1.1 by running 
the Mercurial-1.1.exe file I'd downloaded from mercurial.-
berkwood.com.  I.e., a completely normal looking install.

I failed to mention (because I thought it was irrelevant 
because my understanding is that the Windows Mercurial 
installer contains everything needed, including its own
Python) is that I have a system-wide install of Python 
that I upgraded to Python-2.6 around the same time.  Is
that possibly relevant?
