By the way, i did forgot to quickly introduce me, as i'm quite new to this
mailing list. My name is Romain Pelisse, I work as an "Open Source
Architect" (for what this strange title means :) ) at Atos Origin. My area
of expertise is ,well, only Open Source solutions, that much is obvious, but
with a little focus on J2EE frameworks and application server (mostly jboss)
, development tools such as Ant, Maven, and, more recently, OpenOffice.org.

Also, I did some french translation for KDE - not for while sadly - and join
the pmd <http://pmd.sourceforge.net> project, about a year ago. I also
become XRadar <http://xradar.sourceforge.net/> kind of project leader (as
original projet leaders have become dormant).

As a part time job, I often teach back to my old engineering school, ESME
Sudria <http://www.esme.fr>, where I mostly teach OO Programming, Unix, and
the proper use of engineering software tools such as Ant and ... Mercurial !
(i'm pretty sure you were wondering, at this point, how hg was figuring in
all of that ). As i really feel that hg is a great tool I also decide to
talk about it (along some other related tools such as git or bazaar) at the
upcoming Solutions
Linux<http://www.grapheos.com/confmanager/2009/programme/index-9.html>
.

I know daily used hg for both personal and professional use. At some point,
I really want my school's to help mercurial community and therefore I
decided to "listen" to this mailing list in order to maybe find something
that can make a decent project for them.
