Mercurial book repo gone

I contacted Bryan O'Sullivan regarding this topic on July 14th, 2008. He 
responded the same day: "It's just a dead server. I'll be bringing the 
repo back online this week.".

Unfortunately this never happened.

As far as I know there was nearly no activity on the book for quite a long 
time. I contacted one of the changeset creators, but was told he had no 
direct access to the books repo; instead Bryan applied one of his patches, 
so his name got to the logs.

So I guess Bryan was the only person who had write access to this repo.

As far as I know, there has also never been a public search for another 
maintainer.
