Actually, the copyright notice looks like
> This software may be used and distributed according to the terms
> of the GNU General Public License, incorporated herein by reference.

Which is confusing, as it does not state whether it applies to GPLv2
or any version of GPL.

Normally, you see copyright headers of "GPL version 2 or (at your
opionion) any later version", or
explicitly stating version 2.

Maybe Matt could clarify it.

In the case it's GPLv2 or later, there is no problem, as GPLv3 is
compatible with the latest GNU Affero
License.
