There's already a graph on the "Changesets" page. Check it out here,

The connection on bitbucket.org *is* encrypted, although our SSL  
certificate does not validate on that host, as you say it's  
*.bitbucket.org. This host is only used by mercurial though, as our  
frontend proxy will redirect anything else to www.
