Indeed, git-config provides a great deal of functionality.  It would be easy to add
--get, but this would be redundant with 'debugconfig'.  I could see a --file argument
being useful.  How much of this would people actually use?

I'm considering a dialog for editing your [paths] section and a dialog
to enable/disable extensions.  Any other ideas?
