Cannot convert subversion repository

Ok - then I will have to try and buidl subversion from scratch. I am
on an Ubuntu server 6.06 and the subversion I can get with the apt-get
is version 1.3.1.

I know this is out of subject for this mailing list but since I am a
linux newbie I am uncertain if I should build or if there is a way to
get the newest subversion binary for ubuntu?
