I think this is in as of #39cfcef4f463, right?

I would not recommend actually using it until Issue921 and Issue884 are fixed.

Please bundle the inotify extension with the next Mercurial release. It will
really impress people who are trying Mercurial for the first time, and those
people won't know to go find and install it manually.
